Another endorsement for Beers, this from long-time Nevada writer Tom Mitchell:
Nevada’s next state treasurer should be Republican Bob Beers, a CPA who has served in five sessions of the Nevada Legislature and is a former Las Vegas City Councilman. He was one of the “Fearless Fifteen” who stopped Gov. Kenny Guinn from placing a gross receipts tax.
The treasurer’s job is to hold the states purse strings. Beers knows how to do that.
Got another great citizen endorsement, this time from Mason Workman over on Facebook: “There’s not a better person for the job. Bob is fiscally conservative and has the citizens in mind. If you don’t know the man, reach out and make a connection.” Thanks Mason!
A group called “Don’t California Our Nevada” has endorsed Beers for Treasurer (along with Ron Knecht for Controller) as “Two pillars on a bedrock of fiscal conservancy.”
The Real Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Beers for Treasurer. You can find the Real Chamber on Facebook here.
